The Area

The Mijas and Fuengirola areas have a unique micro-climate in Europe. The Costa del Sol is famous for its temperatures ranging from 56°F to 100°F, with an average annual temperature around 66°F. The region contains all the ingredients for a good stay: You will find a great variety of bars: from the typical Spanish tapas bars close to British pubs, beach bars or 'chiringitos' where you will taste seafood (but not only) cooked according to ancient recipes, typical dishes of Andalusia. On the other hand, not matching the quality and quantity of traditional ethnic restaurants, one can eat 24h / 24h. Due to the high concentration of restaurants, bars and nightclubs, the Costa del Sol is the perfect place to watch the sunrise after spending the night in the beach fashion discos, with DeeJay entertainment. Or, if one prefers, simply watch the sunset, confortably installed on the panoramic terrace.

 

The Rates & the Deposit

Taos Villa's has ajusted rates corresponding to the offer. Those rates are variable in function of the seasons. For a better efficiency in maintenance, the property is rented from SATURDAYS to SATURDAYS. The refundable deposit may seem pretty high but amply justified by the outside and inside decorative items and amenities constantly renewed and changed for improvement or request from vacationers. The rates can change from a year to another to follow the market. Until now, NOBODY who experienced a stay in Taos Villa, complained about the cost and we'll do everything we can for this to last.

The Place and the Villa
At 7minutes drive from the sea, on the Costa del Sol, midway between Malaga and Marbella (17,4miles - 28km) in a supervised private area, large design and open space villa (1620 square feet - 494m2), featuring panoramic terrace (360 ° sea, city and mountain view), 5 themed rooms, 2 with private terrace, 4 en-suite bathrooms, +1 separate toilet, large living room, open fitted kitchen, elevator, 6 TV sets (51', 46' & 33') cable smart/internet 3D TV, closed garage ( for 2 cars, 1 motorcycle) + 2 other parking places inside property, remote control entry. Outdoor protected dining area with summer bar and professional "plancha", private swimming pool (40ft - 12,50m long)  and outdoor summer shower. Internet WI-FI, A/C (air conditioning) whole house (reversible: warm), two rooms nord exposed for freshness, bidirectional reinforcement ventilation, underfloor heating, luminous and aerated rooms thanks to the large isolated double tinted glass doors and windows. Surrounding the property, tropical plants provide a total 'privacy' for the relaxed occupants installed in an outdoor seating or lying in the sun loungers on the wooden deck all around the pool. Alarm (remote) with cameras (registration available only upon Police request) and condominium guards complete the protection field. Different entrances are available (with remote controls). Possibility to organize night events with live orchestra at the pool (only on demand for permit). Available selected Andalusian gourmet dishes through catering (extra) to eat in the shade of tropical plants. In the center of the urbanisation (few minutes walk), clubhouse with restaurant, supervised swimming pool and tennis court, cafes and small supermarket. The villa has full access for the disabled (elevator serving the 3 stories of the house).

The House

More than words, we'll try to illustrate the topic with simple photos of the  villa. Sometimes few decorative items may be different from the pictures because we try hard to change and progress, improving different aspects according to visitors suggestions, seasons, or just following  the mood of the moment. Many genuine items are original and the high quality material used for construction represent the very reason for an out of range refundable caution.

The Architect Map

You will find a link showing you the architect map of the Taos Villa, so you can figure out how the structure contributes to "live" the house the best possible with a look towards the future while maintaining values of the past: "home sweet home" and "there is no best place like home" and we add: even if you are away from home, you must feel like if you were there!

The Garden

Like for the house, we prefer to show you pictures from the garden. You'll understand the possible variations due to the seasons, the evolution of the plant themselves, the owner's innovations, the sanitary necessities brought to the vegetals in the 2 main areas of the villa. At the main walking entrance a "dry" desertical type of plants are monitoring the entrance of vacationers with several variety of cactus and  other typical plants growing through white sand. One can notice several artefacts from south American civilizations along with semi precious stones, mainly amethysts, and original fossils stones. 

Miscellaneous  -  Details

We will show you some details to understand that nothing happens just by chance but is cured from the most simple aspects as well as in most sophisticated situations, so that the mind may not notice at first sight.

Just a hint: inside the house, try to note the combination between steel, wood and cement...
